Simo Klemetti Appointed as Foreman in Kärkölä.

Simo Klemetti will begin his role as foreman in Kärkölä gradually during the latter part of 2024, as Markku Haapalainen retires. Klemetti will be responsible for the log handling at Koskisen’s plywood factory and sawmill, and he will supervise about 20 operators in Kärkölä. Klemetti will report to Pekka Pöllänen.

Klemetti started as a machine operator at Adolf Lahti in April 2023, when UPM Pellos’ plywood factory’s wood handling began as a contract with Adolf Lahti. Prior to joining Adolf Lahti, Klemetti worked on similar factory contracts across Finland for over 10 years, gaining extensive experience in providing services for factory contracting.
