Adolf Lahti’s EcoVadis score rises to 67

Adolf Lahti scored 67 out of 100 in the 2026 EcoVadis sustainability assessment, earning a Bronze Medal. Its overall score improved by nine points from the previous year.

EcoVadis is a widely used international sustainability assessment platform. Large companies use it to assess suppliers and inform procurement decisions. For Adolf Lahti, the assessment is also a way to show customers the level and progress of its sustainability work. It helps the company meet customer sustainability requirements by providing an independent, comparable assessment of its practices.

Adolf Lahti’s progress in sustainability is reflected in its results over recent years. Its first EcoVadis score was 51 in 2023. It rose to 58 in 2025 and 67 in 2026, an overall increase of 16 points since 2023.

EcoVadis assesses how companies manage sustainability and put it into practice across four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment helps identify both strengths and areas for improvement.

In the 2026 assessment, Adolf Lahti’s strongest theme was environment, with a score of 72. The assessment highlighted the company’s ISO 14001-certified environmental management system, use of renewable energy, and employee training on energy savings and climate issues. Greenhouse gas emissions reporting was also recognized.

In practices related to employees, the report highlighted occupational safety training, the assessment of occupational health and safety risks, and competence development. Occupational safety management is supported by ISO 45001 certification. In sustainable procurement, strengths included incorporating environmental and social requirements into supplier contracts and conducting sustainability audits of suppliers.

The higher score and Bronze Medal recognize the progress Adolf Lahti has made in its sustainability work. The assessment also points the way to future improvements, including strengthening the company’s targets, metrics and reporting.

“Across several areas, we have made gradual progress in improving our sustainability work. Based on this assessment, we can identify new areas for development and the actions needed to address them. Transparency in sustainability is part of how we operate. Together with our customers, we can make industrial logistics more sustainable and responsible,” says Pekka Pöllänen, Managing Director at Adolf Lahti.
