PEKKA PÖLLÄNEN IS THE NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF ADOLF LAHTI YXPILA

The current Managing Director of Oy Adolf Lahti Yxpila Ab Joakim Laxåback will become the head of division of KWH Logistics and CEO of Oy Backman-Trummer Ab 1.3.2021.

Pekka Pöllänen, forestry engineer (HVE), has been chosen as the new Managing Director of Adolf Lahti and will continue Joakims successful work and development of the company.

Pekka Pöllänen has been working at Adolf Lahti since 2017. He has been a Sales Director and Regional Director with responsibilities of the sales and marketing as well as the management and development of  operational activities within the area of Southern Finland. He has also had a broad and long career at UPM Kymmene Metsä, with various positions within the logistics of wood procurement and the latest as Resource Manager. Pekka has had a strong role in the building of our success in collaboration with the other companies within our business group.

Pekka Pöllänen will take over the position as Managing Director 1.3.2021. He will also become a member of the KWH Logistics Management Team.

The recruitment process for finding a successor for Pekkas current position will start as soon as possible.
