We operate a modern and energy-efficient machinery fleet designed to meet the demands of challenging work environments. Our equipment is carefully planned and dimensioned according to the specific requirements of each site, ensuring that the machines used are optimal both technically and in terms of energy efficiency. Up-to-date machinery improves work quality, enhances safety, and reduces environmental impact.
In our equipment investments, we follow the BAT principle (Best Available Technology), meaning we always select the technically and environmentally best possible solution. Lifecycle thinking guides our decisions – we invest in machinery that is easy to maintain, long-lasting, and energy-efficient throughout its entire lifecycle. Well-maintained equipment is a sustainable choice both economically and environmentally.
Forklifts
Our extensive forklift fleet offers solutions for all needs – electric and diesel counterbalance forklifts ranging from 2 to 32 tonnes. Our fleet includes, for example, a fully electric Kalmar ECG 160 forklift with a 16-ton lifting capacity, enabling emission-free and efficient loading. We also operate specialized forklifts for heavy industrial use and versatile material handling requirements.
Loaders
Our versatile wheel loader fleet ranges from 10 to 90 tonnes, including powerful high-lift loaders for raw wood handling. The machines are equipped with a wide range of attachments for all types of loading, transfer, and material handling tasks, both in industrial sites and at ports. One example from our heavy-duty range is the Volvo 350 loader.
Material handling machines
We offer one of the market’s most extensive material handling fleets, ranging from 30 to 380 tonnes. Our equipment includes top brands such as Sennebogen and Mantsinen, configured for efficient bulk and raw wood handling. The fleet also includes screening machines, wood processing equipment, excavators, and long-reach machines for specialized needs.
Vehicle fleet
Our fleet includes a comprehensive range of quarry and mining trucks in the 30–90 tonne class, hook-lift trucks from 24 to 32 tonnes, and full trailer combinations with total weights of up to 200 tonnes. We use our vehicles efficiently both for internal mill area transports and for road transport, covering everything from ADR shipments to pulp and bulk materials.
Telehandlers
Our powerful wood telehandlers are specifically designed for industrial raw wood handling. The fleet is suitable for handling logs and pulpwood in the 20–90 tonne class. The reach and capacity of these machines make them ideal for demanding, high-volume handling tasks in ports and in the forest industry.
Green energy machinery
Adolf Lahti invests strongly in the use of green energy in its machinery fleet and is exceptionally committed to meeting environmental targets also in terms of equipment – without compromising performance or practical functionality. Electrification of machinery and conversion to electric power are important steps toward more sustainable material handling. In cooperation with our customers, we continuously seek new innovative solutions to reduce emissions.
