Supporting the community and local activities
We want to strengthen the vitality of the communities where we operate and increase the impact of locally significant organizations and events. We also want to play a role in creating future opportunities, especially for children and young people.
Sponsorship is an important form of collaboration aimed both at supporting Adolf Lahti’s objectives and at enabling the activities of the sponsored partner. Through sponsorship, we build meaningful community relationships and strengthen our image as an active and engaged company. We primarily support activities that align with our values and our responsible way of doing business.
In 2024, we focused especially on supporting ball sports and junior sports – including basketball, ice hockey, volleyball, and floorball. We also support local culture, volunteer-based associations, and events in the communities where we operate.
On the charitable side, we contributed to the well-being of children and young people by donating through the Association of Friends of the University Children’s Hospitals to five university children’s hospitals, pediatric research, and mental health initiatives for children and young people.
